Low Temperature Testing System The LABCON LTB-FT 4 Low Temperature Testing System is a specific purpose testing system designed to thermally cycle test material in order to simulate accelerated weathering conditions.
The system comprises two separate units, a curing water bath and a freeze-thaw thermal cycle bath which are used in conjunction to implement the test procedure as stipulated in the “TC67 WI FFF:2005” specification for materials used in construction.
The system units are equipped with heating and cooling systems to control the water and air temperatures and are both well insulated to ensure that test conditions are stable, accurate and highly consistent.
The freeze-thaw testing procedure is controlled and run by dedicated and purpose built microcontrollers thus ensuring testing is highly repeatable and predictable.
The system has the following features:
Micro-controller controlled testing: Ensures accurate testing conditions for best results.
Heavy Gauge All Steel Chassis: Units designed to hold and support 400kg of water and mass of test load.
Durable Construction: AISI 304 inner chamber ensures long term reliability and resilience to water damage. Outer chassis is powder coated to prevent corrosion.
Large Testing Volume: Chamber designed to hold 400L of volume for testing large items.
Poly-Urethane Insulation: Ensuring stable test temperatures and consistent results.
High Capacity water pump: Flow rate of up to 60l/min ensures that water does not stagnate to provide excellent temperature homogeneity.
Powerful water heaters: 1kW fitted with up to 2kW of power to rapidly increase the water
Every effort has been taken to ensure the accuracy of this specification. However, due to continuous development and improvement the goods supplied may vary in detail from those described or illustrated.
