Laboratory Marketing Services ( Labmark ) is a South African company which manufactures a wide range of laboratory equipment comprising ovens, incubators, humidity incubators,incubators with shaking platforms, ultrasonic baths, conveyor oven systems, thermal cycle testing systems, environmental testing equipment, freezers/refrigerators, growth chambers, platform shakers, water baths, magnetic stirrers, mantle heaters, hotplates and utility equipment such as steel test tube holders, shakers , laminar flow work benches, safety storage cabinets, glass drying cabinets, drying cabinets, dessicators and trolleys. Labmark's factory is located in Roodepoort, close to Johannesburg, South Africa.The business was established some thirty four years ago by two of the former directors, messrs. Robert Sturmheit and Horst Weihs, one of whom is still a consultant.
Labmark supports the need for Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment, and has been accredited a level 2 score.
Labmark is the market leader in South Africa as a focused manufacturer of laboratory instrumentation which are manufactured under the 'Labcon' brand name. Its products are recognised as being well designed and aesthetically pleasing. They are manufactured to exacting standards so as to ensure a high quality, robust and durable product, ensuring performance in accordance with design specifications.
Many of the products are CE certified and the relevant products are identified as such.
