Labmark has been actively engaged over the past few years in enhancing its existing product range.
Where required, product designs have been modified. Controllers have been modernised so as to ensure that micrprocessor technology and enhanced software is used in all of its products. Materials and components are reviewed regularly so as to ensure that developments in technology are incorporated into the product range as and when such developments occur.
Over the past five years a number of new products have been introduced such as ultrasonic baths for cleaning, safety storage cabinets, laminar flow workbenches, mantle heaters, hybridisation incubators, conveyor oven systems, and low temperature humidity incubators employing ultra sonic technology for humidity generation, refrigerators and chest freezers.
Labmark is currently developing a Class 11 Biohazard Cabinet which it hopes to release into production in 2010, as well as a -86degC Chest Freezer.
The company has also expanded its offering of ovens , having manufactured 4400L ovens.
There is every likelihood that it will also be able to offer a 8000L Oven in 2009.
Where technical competencies permit, and if it appears that there is an economically viable case, Labmark will work together with customers to develop solutions specific to a customer`s requirement. In this way, such products may be able to be introduced into the commercial arena for application across a wider user base.
Labmark is also willing to undertake specialist metal fabrication projects which do not employ added value technologies, but which are required by a customer for testing or research reasons. Examples include special drying cabinets, large steel cabinets used for a variety of purposes, large baths, etcetera.
In 2009 Labmark has developed to customer specifications a thermal cycle testing system conforming to T67 W1 FFF:2005 for materials used in construction industries. Similarly, the conveyor oven system was developed for a specific application, but is a product which can be used for a number of applications.
The 2009 LabAfrica exhibition was held recently in South Africa. It was widely regarded as a success with the entire conference hall being filled to capacity with exhibitors' stands.
Attendance at the exhibition also exceeded expectations.
The Labcon range of products was once again showcased in South Africa thus affording buyers/users an opportunity of seeing much of the Labcon range of equipment.
Various photos were taken at the LabAfrica 2007 exhibition and are presented below with a notation of the products on show.
